Anna Connolly is the Founder of AFC Strong - a dynamic fitness movement based in Detroit, MI. With a combination of professional dance training, a B.S. in Kinesiology from Wayne State University, a ACSM PT certification, and a wide range of diverse experiences in corporate wellness and boutique fitness, Anna brings a wealth of knowledge and positive motivation to every client. Determined to break the shallow expectations commonly found in the fitness industry, Anna is not only determined to push her clients to be their strongest selves physically, but to become the best version of themselves overall.

Anna's group workouts are challenging, but SO rewarding. She changes the exercises and the layouts of her classes often, so I don't ever feel complacent or stuck in a routine. Her personal training sessions are centered around my unique goals and her hard work shows how invested she is in my success. Even following her on social media assists me in my health journey, as she is constantly posting different exercises, stretches, and reminders that we should workout to be healthy and happy, not to change a number on a scale or impress anyone but ourselves.
